Local History Walk

A former teacher and a previous resident of Hetton, Mrs Smith, returned to our school to support us with our History and Geography unit of learning 200 Years of Hetton. She took us on a planned walk where we viewed buildings from the 1800s, discussing how their use had changed over the centuries and links to our railway and mining heritage.
