A crime scene!

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

This morning, Mrs Winter asked us to take care of a necklace that she is going to wear to her special birthday party at the weekend. We put the necklace safely inside a purse and put it on the table to keep it safe. Later in the morning, we went outside to play. When we came back inside, Mrs Winter's neckalce had gone! The classroom was in a big mess and we knew straight away that something bad had happened. When we looked closer we found lots of clues that led us to believe that the necklace had been stolen by Grandma Swag who we had been reading about in our story this week. Mrs Williams rang 999 and spoke to the police about what had happened. In the afternoon, a police officer came into school to deliver some good news... the necklace had been found and Grandma Swag had been arrested! The Police Officer gave us the necklace back ready for Mrs Winter's party. The Police Officer very kindly brought us some uniform to try on. We had lots of fun trying out the hats and the jackets. When we were saying goodbye to PC Darren, a few of us had a sneak peek inside the police car!
