Pancake Day

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022

We have enjoyed making pancakes to celebrate Shrove Tuesday. We went into the cookery room and mixed the ingredients together. We used flour, eggs and milk. Once the batter was mixed, we poured it into the pan. We flipped the pancake over in the frying pan. Once the pancakes were done, we added our toppings and enjoyed our delicious treat. We also enjoyed making pancakes in the playdough area in our provision. We read Mr Wolve's Pancakes and used puppets to retell the story. Finally, we learned a poem called Pancakes which we enjoyed performing.
