Photography - using objects in the environment as frames

Class: Year 3 Year: 2020 - 2021

As the final part of or unit on photography, this week we were looking at how artists ‘frame’ their pictures by using objects that they can include in the shot. Our inspiration this week was Nigel Henderson was a photographer. Looking through his camera, the places around him became backdrops and frames for portraits of people. Photographers use frames to tell us where to look and what’s important in a photo. It had snowed that day and we managed to create some great shots!
